Review Kirby's Dream Land 2 (3DS eShop / GB)
Dreamy
Dream Land's peaceful moniker is surely false advertising. There are constant problems with invasions and takeovers, the bad guys are apparently impossible to evict, based on how often they show up and the fact that some buffoon keeps dumping huge piles of those star blocks in everybody's way. It's an absolute nightmare. You wouldn't get that...

Been waiting to own this since 1995.
KDL2 is the only Kirby's Dream Land game I've never owned. I currently own the first on my 3DS (which I used to own on Game Boy before it went missing at a beach), and the third and fourth on my Wii, but never before have I gazed upon my own copy of this elusive title. I know it's been done to Game Over, but...Nintendo, shut up and take my money!
I feel so dirty after saying that meme... shudders
Want this for US VC... Japan gets the great titles, the only game we got before them I enjoy a TON is ExciteBots.... Which they have now
Kirby looks so funny when he goes inside that fish.
Just beat Ice Dragon. I feel like this game lacks the charm the original had in graphics and audio. The only good tunes in this game are ones taken or remixed from the original. The new music is quite forgettable. The graphics are quite bland for a Kirby game (but still good compared to many GB games). And as far as gameplay goes, having played other games, it doesn't quite capture the intricacies of those games. There's no slide for example which I miss having. Still, it is the best of the original Dream Land trilogy (only because the original is too short and easy while the third game is a departure from tradition) but not as good as the NES game.
I'll admit that as far as this iteration's music goes it's a step backwards from the first game, but overall it's an improvement over the first Kirby's Dream Land, imo (especially when played on the Super Game Boy peripheral cartridge for the SNES)
WHAT!? I JUST bought this used for $20. Don't know when it's coming oversea's, but maybe I ought to return it and get an eShop card instead. Of course, the original cart is in color, whereas this one doesn't seem to be.
Give us Kirby dreamland 2 for America this week with G&W Gallery 2
Oh, please........can we have this soon, NoA? Pretty please?
This better get a release date soon.
Yeah... NoA... it's sort of been a year... we're never getting this or Wario Land 3 are we? Didn't think so...
I remember a time when all I wanted to do was master and play this game. It was so fun to play it. KD2 is also the MOST DIFFICULT GAME in the series since MIRROR for the GBA. No other game does so much then this game alone.
Still a fun game
