I'm hoping that the reason the graphics don't look great is so that it runs at 60 fps. If it is only 30 fps I will get the PC version instead. I'm not very bothered by the resolution, but the lighting looks strange as well, which is disappointing. Hopefully they will improve it before it is released.

No idea what ppl are talking about. Graphics look fine to me.
It's a Switch game. It's not gonna be 4k without a single pixelated curve.
This looks exactly as you would expect it to. If this is considered "rough" then I submit your expectations for how Switch games look aren't aligned with reality.

From the footage I've seen, the game isn't that demanding and Switch should be able to run it just fine. The game shouldn't look this much worse. My fear is that this version will be poorly optimized and run badly.
Switch version is likely to sell the most anyway, so I don't know why they don't just prioritize that version.
I won't lie, I'm VERY worried about how this will look/run on Switch. The fact that Sega refuses to show off a playable build of the Switch version only exacerbates those fears. It's almost like they know the Switch version is going to be bad and are hiding it from view to increase sales.
I dread another Tales of Symphonia situation where the devs simply do not bother to optimize the game for Switch and, as a result, release a substandard product.
